Lima, Ohio Steel Service Center

Lima was the third branch purchased by the Benjamin Steel Company and was opened in May of 1984. In 1997, Lima moved its operations to a new 80,000 square foot facility. Lima's area of dependable service includes northwest Ohio, southern Michigan, and northeast Indiana. We service as far east as Upper Sandusky. Then traveling to the northeast we go into Sandusky. We then travel west along Lake Erie into Toledo and north to Monroe, Michigan. From Monroe, we head southwest to Kendallville, Indiana, south to Fort Wayne, and further south to Portland, Indiana. Then it is back to Ohio to Grand Lake, Celina, St. Mary's and Wapakoneta.

Lima's quality processing including burning, shearing, and sawing is recognized by customers throughout the area for quality, competitiveness, and dependable on-time delivery.

Lima is located in Allen County, Ohio which has a population of 115,000. Lima has a population of 50,000 and is the hub of a ten county retail region in northwest Ohio. Lima's location has long made it an ideal distribution center. The community is crossed by Interstate 75 and US Highways 30 and 33. More than two-thirds of the nation's population lies within 600 miles of the city facilitating overnight service to seventy percent of the country's major markets. Some of the world's largest and most widely known manufacturers are located in the Lima and Allen County area.

The Lima branch supports the Lima Chamber of Commerce and many other community organizations and activities.
